Karl, BA/LLB (Otago), was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2000.  He subsequently worked in general practice in Manukau, followed by three years in commercial litigation and recovery legal work.

Karl joined McElroys in 2008 and specialises in professional indemnity litigation.
