Andy completed a BCom/LLB (awarded 2008) conjoint degree at the University of Auckland before undertaking a LLM (2009) on the international legal framework for preferential trade agreements.  Andy was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in October 2009 and joined McElroys early in 2010, where he is developing experience in all aspects of insurance law but with particular emphasis on maritime claims.
